Chittorgarh: Kotwali police have recovered a stolen Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle from the Municipal Colony area and arrested two suspects in the case. Superintendent of Police Manish Tripathi stated that on October 23, complainant Jeevanlal Dangi, a resident of the Municipal Colony, reported that his Bullet motorcycle, parked outside his house at night, was found missing in the morning. A case was registered against unidentified thieves. To curb the rising incidents of theft and solve the case, a special team was formed under the supervision of ASP Sarita Singh, guidance of DSP Vinay Chaudhary, and leadership of SHO Tulsiram.
Based on technical surveillance and local intelligence, the team detained two men — Vikas Khatik (22) and Harish Tailor (19), residents of Ghosunda. During interrogation, they confessed to stealing the motorcycle along with another accomplice by breaking the handle lock.
On their identification, the stolen Bullet motorcycle was recovered. The third accused remains absconding, and police efforts are underway to trace him.
