Alwar | A tragic road accident occurred on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on Tuesday around 4:30 AM, leaving six members of a businessman’s family injured.

The family, originally from Jaipur’s Dadi Ka Phatak area, was returning from Haridwar when their car collided with a truck while trying to avoid a suddenly appearing pickup vehicle. According to police, the driver Amit Chaudhary lost control while attempting to save the car from hitting the pickup, which allegedly came onto the road abruptly. The vehicle then crashed into a truck ahead. The impact left all passengers seriously injured. Eyewitnesses reported that both the pickup and truck drivers fled the scene immediately after the collision. An 11-year-old boy, Lakshya, said his father suffered severe injuries and lay on the road in pain for a long time before help arrived. Police and ambulances rushed to the spot and shifted all injured persons to Alwar District Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident and the role of the vehicles involved.
