Alwar | In Alwar district near the Raini police station, a Volvo sleeper bus overturned on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway around 6 AM on Saturday, injuring 50-52 passengers.

All passengers were on their way to attend the Bhagwat Katha in Govardhan. The accident is believed to have occurred due to the driver dozing off. Immediately after the incident, police and NHAI relief teams arrived at the scene. Station Officer Bane Singh Meena personally coordinated the rescue, evacuating trapped passengers. Most injured were given primary treatment at Pinan Hospital, while six critically injured passengers were referred to Alwar District Hospital. A 14-year-old girl was referred to Jaipur due to a fractured leg. At the time of the accident, nearly 50 members of the Agarwal family from Shyopur, Madhya Pradesh, were on board. The accident caused temporary chaos on the expressway, but police and NHAI teams quickly restored traffic. Authorities are investigating the exact cause of the crash.
