A shocking murder case has been uncovered in Barmer, where police solved a blind murder mystery and arrested the victim’s wife along with her alleged lover. Investigators say the murder was carefully planned as part of a conspiracy.
The case came to light on June 4, when the body of Tejaram was found inside a water tank in the Sadar police station area. During investigation, police discovered that Tejaram’s wife, Netal Devi, was allegedly in a relationship with taxi driver Guman Singh Rajput. The victim had reportedly learned about the affair, leading to repeated disputes at home.
According to police, the accused first made Tejaram sit with them and drink alcohol together late into the night. Later, the alleged lover took him away in a taxi, murdered him, and dumped the body in a roadside water tank to hide the crime.
Chunaram Jat said both accused have been arrested. The woman has been sent to judicial custody, while police are questioning the alleged lover on remand.
