Sirohi. To assess disaster management preparations in Sirohi, a mock drill was organized at Mansarovar in Abu Road. During this, a simulated air attack, casualties of dozens of people, and a fire incident were vividly portrayed. Disaster management, police, scout, and medical teams promptly arrived at the scene during the mock drill. District Collector Alpa Chaudhary and Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar Beniwal reached the site to lead the process of controlling the situation and provided necessary directions. The process of immediately transporting the injured to the hospital and controlling the fire was practiced. The district administration and civil defense teams reached the incident site within 5 to 7 minutes, reflecting their quick response. Practices for providing first aid to the injured were conducted at the district hospital and trauma center in Abu Road. District Collector Chaudhary mentioned that the arrangements made by the administration during the mock drill were appropriate, and it was a successful effort in disaster management. Additionally, a blackout practice will be conducted at night.
